| Abstract | : | This thesis explores of Liu Zhenyun's style of "ningba" and "jiahua" in Cell Phone, with discussion on allegory in the novel. The thesis also analyzes Zhenyun's reception of Confucian thought and Lu Xun's literary legacy and then argues that Cell Phone shows a way out of the present chaos by reviewing the last century. |
